The average length of the small intestine in an adult human male is 22 feet 6 inches and in the adult female 23 feet 4 inches. Now, isn't THAT interesting! Almost exactly HALF as long as the small intestine of an ostrich...plus, a female's small intestine is LONGER than the male's small intestine--weird!
